ESL Pro League Season 23 returns to arena for playoffs

ESL has unveiled in a post on X that the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 23, that will take place in 2026, is going to return to an arena event for playoffs.

This is not the only change that ESL has inculcated in their EPL S23's roadmap. While it will continue to have two stages with 16 teams competing in a Swiss format, ESL have also implemented have a third place decider.

Moreover, ESL has ensured that the participating teams will be provided financial support for bootcamps, while the teams that go beyond the group stage will get the added benefits of sponsored flights, accommodations, and practice rooms.
