SemperFi wins DFRAG Invitational 2025

A clean 2-0 in the Grand Final

SemperFi, playing their first event with their new lineup consisting of aliStair, took down ex-TALON in the Grand Final of DFRAG Invitational 2025 to win the LAN event taking place in Brisbane. SemperFi completed a brilliant lower-bracket run after going down to ex-TALON in the opening round game and set the score straight to take home the title, prize money and crucial VRS points.

shadiy along with aliStair and SaVage propelled SemperFi to a massive T side lead on their pick of Nuke to start the series. A 10-2 half saw SemperFi ease to a 13-3 win to kick off the Grand Final in style. Inferno seemed like it would go the same way as Nuke but four consecutive T rounds to close the opening half helped ex-TALON keep the score tied on their map pick.

ex-TALON seemed like they had finally found some form, starting their CT half with the pistol and conversions which saw them go 9-6 up before seven straight rounds from SemperFi with aliStair's AWP in mix helped SemperFi close out Inferno 13-9 to seal the series 2-0. shadiy was named as the Grand Final MVP, with the Latvian finishing the final with a 1.65 rating with an ADR of 96.7 across the two maps.
