Liquid send Lynn Vision home to stay alive in EPL
After their hard-fought win over 9INE, Lynn Vision had a mountain to climb to keep their ESL Pro League Season 18 hopes alive as they faced Liquid in Group D elimination game.
Lynn Vision's pick of Anubis was the opening map of the series and it was Liquid starting with a 3-0 start on the CT side after picking up the first pistol of the series. Lynn Vision's first round came off the back of an A hit with Deagles and TEC-9s. The Chinese team went to string four round together to take the lead of the map before YEKINDAR's straight up defuse stick in a 1v1 against Westmelon saw Liquid keep the score tied. Starry's multi-kills along with z4kr's openers saw Lynn Vision win out the half at 8-4 with an oSee quad A hold saw Liquid get back on the board. Lynn Vision took a 9-6 lead at the half as oSee's AWP saw Liquid pull back two crucial rounds at the end.

Liquid managed to hold on in a 3v4 to take the second pistol and were quick to take the lead at 10-9 before both sides brought out the guns in the second half. After five straight rounds, Lynn Vision got their first CT round with nothing but pistols. Rounds were being traded back and forth before two crucial multi-kill rounds from z4kr saw Lynn Vision move to map point at 15-13 but two A hits from Liquid saw them hang on to take the game to overtime.
Liquid eventually managed to recover Anubis at 19-17 with their old-guard NAF having a stellar map with 33 kills.
z4kr's 1v2 saw Lynn Vision pick up the first half pistol on Liquid's pick of Ancient. The first round for Liquid came off the back of an A hit with pistol in round 4 and Liquid tied up the score at 3-3 and an incredible 1v3 from NAF from Donut saw Liquid take the lead. Lynn Vision though bounced to take a 10-5 lead at the half

Liquid picked up the second pistol and while Lynn Vision tried to put up a fight, Liquid's defensive hold was just superior and they closed the map at 16-13.
Liquid will now face Eternal Fire in the final game of Group D as they hope to book their ESL Pro League Season 18 playoffs spot.
