Altekz shines on debut for Astralis

Astralis Talent player shines bright on debut

Astralis cruise through with a 2-0 win against Gamer Legion (GL)

Altekz, who was recently moved from Astralis Talent to the main team to take Xyp9x's place, showcased great confidence and skill in his debut match. His performance imposes the question of whether he may be the missing ingredient that Astralis needed.

Astralis emerged victorious against Gamer Legion, dominating the T-side of Ancient with a 12-3 lead in the first half. Astralis went on to win the map 16-8, with blameF and Altekz leading the charge with impressive HLTV ratings of 1.53 and 1.41 respectively.

blameF's T-side aggression left GL speechless

Gamer Legion put up a strong fight on Vertigo, recovering from a 7-0 deficit on their T-side to finish the first half at 8-7. However, Astralis responded with a near-flawless T-side play, losing only one round to win the map 16-8 as device posted impressive stats, with over 100 ADR and a massive HLTV rating of 1.67.

device's CT-side AWPing was an obstacle GL couldn't overcome

Astralis take the series 2-0 as Gamer Legion face elimination in the lower bracket.
