GODSENT sent home by Eternal Fire
Continuing from where he left off, Wicadia put up big numbers on Inferno alongside imoRR. Eternal Fire mounted a strong lead of 10:5 in their CT-side, as GODSENT showed great resilience going on to tie the match 15:15 and force overtime. The first overtime saw both teams clean sweeping their respective CT-sides.
The second overtime saw both the teams trading rounds and forcing yet another overtime and finally in the third overtime GODSENT overcame Eternal Fire to take Inferno 22:25 thanks to a valiant effort from joel and draken who put up 47 and 35 frags with a HLTV rating of 1.38 and 1.06, respectively.
Going into Anubis, GODSENT and Eternal Fire went neck to neck quite literally, trading rounds back and forth with imoRR coming back into shape after a seemingly quiet previous outing against Apekz, dropping 28 frags with a HLTV rating of 1.44. Eternal Fire eventually went on to close out the map with an intense 16:14 score line, drawing the series at 1:1, going into the decider, Mirage.
Mirage is where things took a turn for GODSENT. draken who was impactful with his AWP on Inferno and Anubis was seldom seen racking up impact kills on Mirage and would often be found on the other side of the action. The academy recruit, Wicadia showed little to no fear, pushing through CT smokes and opening routes for his side to take different parts of the map.
After finishing the first half 9:6 in their favor, Eternal Fire went on to take the map 16:9 and end the series 2-1 eliminating GODSENT after an intense triple overtime on Inferno and a battle of over 4 hours. Eternal Fire will be relieved to see XANTARES back in from as he puts up a HLTV rating of 1.35 in Mirage, seeming as sharp as ever going towards the backend of the tournament
GODSENT are the first team to get eliminated from the Brazy Party 2023 and Eternal Fire live to fight another day with still a chance to qualify for the playoffs.
