paiN win Brazilian brawl to secure Brazy Party playoffs
The match began on paiN's pick of Ancient. With 00NATION picking up the pistol round, the team put up 3 rounds on the board before guns came out for paiN. Once the guns were out, though, 00's defence was no match for the NEKIZ and Biguzera attack. The duo combined for 28 kills in the half, with nobody from 00 able to challenge them. While Coldzera's squad picked up a couple of rounds, the half was dominant for paiN with a 10-5 scoreline.
Moving over to the CT side, paiN again gave away the pistol and then traded rounds back and forth as dumau performed strongly for the 00 sides. But with a big lead from the first half, paiN simply traded rounds to a 16-12 victory.
The game continued on Mirage, with 00 starting on the T side. Once again, though, the first half was nearly a one-way street for paiN as the squad managed to pick up 10 rounds in the half with 00 barely able to put 2 rounds together. The second half started with 00Nation picking up the pistol, but this time paiN shut them down thanks to a quick forcebuy of their own.
Trading sets of three rounds, the teams found themselves at a 13-9 scoreline favouring Biguzera's troops. Another solid CT side round from dumau led to paiN's economy being tested, but NEKIZ's tec9 and skullz's Deagle sang louder than their AKs in the previous rounds to steal away another win and put paiN to 14.
coldzera and Co. held their lines, however, and kept building their score up, reaching 14-12 before yet another tec9 NEKIZ miracle put his team on match point. A massive 15 hp 1v2 clutch on the A site from skullz was the final nail in the 00 coffin as paiN secure the series and qualified for the playoffs, eliminating 00Nation from the event.
