OG outlast Eternal Fire
With OG's coach ruggah standing in for NEOFRAG, Eternal Fire started the series off with a dominant 11:4 T-side on Anubis, going off of which, closed out the map 16:7. OG would just get countered against every play they tried and with XANTARES stepping up with a HLTV rating of 1.65, Eternal Fire looked favorites to close the series out in their favor.
However, things started falling apart for Eternal Fire in Mirage. After a strong 10-5 start in their CT-side, Eternal Fire looked to take the momentum forward but instead were met with flameZ and F1KU going ballistic on the CT-side for OG, dropping a staggering 10-round winning streak.
OG came back and took Mirage 16:12, forcing the series into Overpass, the decider, with flameZ and F1KU finishing on HLTV ratings of 1.32 and 1.30 respectively.
Going into Overpass, imoRR put up a fantastic display of CT-side AWPing as Eternal Fire went neck to neck with OG finishing the first half 7:8. In the 2nd half however, everyone from Eternal Fire went quiet as niko took matters into his own hands and mounted an unbreakable CT-side defense alongside NEOFRAG, taking the decider 16:9 and the series, 2:1.
While calling the shots niko finished Overpass with an impressive HLTV rating of 1.63, dropping 23 frags at an ADR of over 100. Eternal Fire fumble after a strong start, as OG rise to reverse sweep the series 2:1, eliminating Eternal Fire.
