oSee dominated ITB to secure Accor Arena appearance

Liquid book Playoffs berth in Paris

After a closely fought Overpass, Liquid takes down Into the Breach to secure a ticket to Accor Arena

Liquid started strong on Overpass, winning the pistol round and converting it into a four-round streak. However, ITB fought back with a well-timed Five-Seven play to deny Liquid's plant and secure their first round. A remarkable 1v3 clutch by oSee forced ITB into a timeout as Liquid took their fifth round.

Despite oSee and NAF dealing damage, Liquid struggled to plant the bomb, allowing ITB to claim 10 rounds in the first half. Another pistol-round win gave Liquid a solid start to the second half, with oSee's AWP leading the charge and giving them a 13-10 lead. However, ITB eventually found their footing, and the teams were tied at 13-13.

In a pivotal moment, nitr0 secured two crucial kills and held off ITB's B site attack, allowing YEKINDAR to win a decisive 1v1. Liquid then shut down ITB's offence, reaching match point. With ITB's economy broken, CRUC1AL's saved AWP made a significant impact, pushing the game into overtime.

In overtime, Liquid's CT side was flawless, quickly reaching match point again. Both teams heavily relied on their AWPs, and CRUC1AL stepped up to provide ITB with crucial CT rounds. However, he was left in a difficult 1v3 situation, and YEKINDAR sealed the deal with a knife kill, securing victory for Liquid on Overpass.

ITB started off Anubis well with 5 rounds off the pistol win, but once Liquid answered back with 8 rounds of their own to close out the half with a comfortable 9-6 lead. oSee's AWP kept up its form from Overpass as the often-criticized Liquid member showed some of his immense potential with 17 frags in the half.

Moving to their own attack, Liquid picked up the pistol round and built a massive streak of 6 rounds to get to match point. ITB tried to get some wins on the board, but Liquid's lead left no room for error for the Brits, and with oSee putting up 26 kills, the map closed out quickly at 16-7.

Liquid enters the playoffs with a solid recovery from the Challengers Stage disaster. With YEKINDAR NAF. and oSee being some of the highest rated players in the event, the firepower is turning up right when it's needed. With the right bracket draw, they are a contender for the trophy.
