ImpressioN's discord server project aims to empower the Asia-Pacific region
The (Asia-Pacific) APAC esports scene has often suffered from disconnection and limited access to crucial information, hindering the growth and development of teams across the region. However, a new initiative aims to change this narrative. Competitive Asia CSGO (CACSGO), a dynamic Discord server, unites players from Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, GCC, Oceania, and Far East Russia, creating a centralized hub for the entire Asia-Pacific region.
ImpressioN, the original mind behind the project, envisioned a server that would bring together the entire APAC region, providing teams with accurate information and a platform to exchange feedback and ideas to enhance the APAC esports landscape. The project is a collaboration between ImpressioN, YC 'dupr1ce' Cheuk, Founder and CEO of Hong Kong based esports organisation, GR Gaming and Bravado Gaming's head coach, Felix 'Frøg' Bergeron.
"Ultimately what we want to do is to connect the APAC regions on this server, whereas information flow, communication as well as discussions can be had to improve the region as a whole. This is a passion project by myself and a few other likeminded individuals to ensure the region gets the support, resources and love that it deserves."

The APAC Esports Community Server has become a hub for 100+ teams from renowned organizations like Grayhound, Bravado, and Team NKT. It brings together players, coaches, managers, organizers, casters, and organizations, fostering collaboration and growth within the APAC region.
The server has a feature which allows other teams to find teams for practice including both against 5v5 and fixed teams. Currently these two features are available but only one is active on WeChat, with most of the teams coming from the Chinese or Mongolian regions. Plans are also in place to adding a scrim feature to help tier 2 and tier 3 teams from the APAC region, to help them practice.
While the server doesn't directly host tournaments, it welcomes organizers to share event details in a dedicated channel, ensuring teams stay updated on the latest tournaments and registration processes. This server paves the way for a more connected and empowered esports scene and community, offering promising prospects for teams across the APAC region.
