Vitality make BLAST Spring Final 2023 semi-finals
After suffering a shock defeat to Imperial in their opening game, Vitality have gotten their campaign back on track and now are headed to the semi-finals to face G2, after taking down FaZe 2-0.
The opening map was Vitality's pick of Anubis with FaZe starting on the T side, Vitality picked up the pistol but FaZe responded with the force buy. Vitality answered back with their own force buy before FaZe strung together four rounds with both broky and ropz coming in with crucial post plan clutches. FaZe looked like they would run away with the half at 7-3 but Vitality clawed it back with five consecutive rounds to end the half with a 8-7 lead.

The second half was a mirror image of the first half, with FaZe again putting together a host of rounds before Vitality won six in a row to secure map point which included a crucial 1v2 from apEX. FaZe picked up the two final rounds to take the game to overtime but in overtime it was Vitality who prevailed, taking the opening map 19-17.
The second map was FaZe's pick of Mirage and after taking the opening pistol on the CT half, it was complete domination that saw Vitality end the first half with a 9-6 lead, with Spinx having a strong half with multiple impactful multi-kill rounds. FaZe won a crucial 3v5 on a low buy with upgraded pistols which helped them get to six.

Vitality won the second pistol as well and the conversions to take a massive 13-6 lead before FaZe won their first CT sided round. Vitality eventually went on to close the map at 16-8 with Spinx ending on top of the scoreboard with 21 kills and a 1.44 rating.
