Heroic reign supreme in DC
Heroic have taken down Vitality to win the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023. The Danes went the distance in the finals and took down the recent Major champions 2-1. The Danes end the season with a silverware and the team which always was the bridesmaid and never the bride, now take home their own trophy.
The opening map of the grand final was Vitality's pick of Vertigo. It was the Danes who took the pistol, starting on the T side and Heroic just about managed to convert the force buy and the conversion against the eco to go 3-0 up. A quad kill from apEX in the first gun round put Vitality on the board and three gun rounds in a row saw Vitality quickly tie up the score at 3-3. Vitality took the lead of the map but a quad kill from jabbi on the deagle on a low buy from the Danes saw them tie up the game once again at 4-4. Heroic went on a four round streak before Vitality put up their fifth round thanks to a dupreeh triple. Heroic ended the first half with a 9-6 lead. ZywOo ended the first half with only 2 kills, which highlighted the issue for the Paris Major champions.

cadiaN's dual berettas gave Heroic the second pistol and the Danes increased the lead to 11-6 in no time after converting against the eco buy. Heroic picked up the first gun round to increase their lead to six rounds. Vitality's first T round came off the back of a B hit but it was Heroic who wrapped up the opening map 16-9 with jabbi and sjuush on top of the scoreboard with 20 and 19 kills respectively.
The second map was Heroic's pick of Mirage with the Danes starting on the T side and TeSeS' 1v1 against dupreeh gave Heroic the pistol but Vitality bounced back on the force buy thanks to apEX and ZywOo double. Vitality went 2-1 up before Heroic responded with a full eco B rush to tie the score at 2-2. Magisk's quad kill gave Vitality their fifth round before Heroic could manage their third. Heroic converted a 2v5 thanks to a sjuush triple kill to keep Vitality's lead in check but it was ZywOo's 1v3 helped Vitality end the first half with a 8-7 lead.

Heroic tied the score at 8-8 after taking the second pistol, which saw them convert all four pistols in the opening two maps. Vitality picked up the first gun round and were the first team to hit double digits. ZywOo's quad kill gave Vitality a two round lead at 11-9 and Spinx's 1v3 helped them increase their lead. Vitality eventually closed the second map at 16-10.
The series decider was played on Inferno with the Danes starting on the CT half. Vitality picked up the pistol but it was a back and forth round which saw the Danes end with a 8-7 lead. Heroic picked up the second pistol and both teams kept trading rounds before the Danes put a couple together to secure map point. Heroic secured the map at 16-9 with jabbi ending on top of the scoreboard with 22 kills.
