Heroic take down NAVI to secure Fall Finals spot
It was a hard-fought 2-1 from cadiaN and co. as they took down Natus Vincere (NAVI) to book their spot in the Fall Finals. The Danes now will be playing in front of their home crowd at the Royal Arena.
First up was NAVI's pick of Mirage with the Danes starting on the CT half. NAVI picked up the opening pistol with a quick B hit and NAVI built a 5-0 lead before Heroic got their first defensive round. Heroic made it two in a row but a s1mple double saw NAVI get back on the board with their sixth. Heroic strung six in a row to end the half with a 8-7 lead.

NAVI picked up the second pistol but it were the Danes who answered back on the force buy. Heroic were up 11-8 after converting against NAVI's force and eco. Both teams were trading rounds but a jabbi triple with the deagle saw Heroic secure their 14th. Heroic secured the map at 16-11 and it was a stellar showing from jabbi, with the youngster ending the map with 28 kills and 99.7 ADR.
Heroic's Inferno was the second map was the series as the Danes started on the T side. b1t and jL's double gave NAVI the opening pistol. The game was tied up early at 2-2 and it was back-and-forth from both but a strong close to the half from NAVI saw them take a 10-5 lead with Aleksib coming in with a crucial triple in the last round of the half.
Heroic picked up the second pistol and jabbi's 1v2 saw them hold off NAVI's force buy. A s1mple double saw NAVI put up their first T round. Heroic got five CT rounds in a row before NAVI put up their 12th to keep the score close at 12-13 in the Danes' favour. s1mple and b1t made sure NAVI turned around a 3v4 to tie the game and a jabbi 1v2 saw the Danes deny NAVI map point to keep the score at 14-14. s1mple put NAVI on 15 and a jL quad saw NAVI pick up Inferno 16-14.
It was the b1t and s1mple duo leading from the front on Inferno, with 24 and 23 kills respectively.
The series decider was played on Nuke with NAVI starting on the defensive side. Heroic picked up the opening pistol but an Aleksib triple with the deagle gave NAVI the second round. The force wars continued as Heroic took the following round thanks to a cadiaN 1v2. Heroic went on a five round streak before NAVI could put up their second defensive round. Heroic put up the solid T half as they ended the first half with a 11-4 lead.
An impactful triple from b1t saw NAVI win the pistol and got three in a row before Heroic got the first CT round. An iM quad saw NAVI put up their 10th. Heroic put up their 14th on the back of a hero AWP buy from cadiaN as he came in with a crucial triple kill. A stavn triple saw Heroic pick up the map at 16-12 as it was stavn and cadiaN on top of the scoreboard with 26 and 25 kills respectively.
