The poor form of Medal Esports continues, as they fall flat against Marcos Gaming. After the match, we got a chance to talk to TonyPOPONY from Medal Esports. Here's what he had to say.

On Overpass you looked pretty confident at the start, did you come with a changed mindset?

Yeah, we had a positive mindset coming in. We just wanted to play our own game. And pretty much, that is all there is to it. We did our preparation a couple of days ago.

Do you think Inferno could have gone the other way if not for the lost 1v1s?

Yeah most definitely. The 1v1s were pretty crucial ones. The economy went their way instead of ours. That's basically what happened. Just unlucky.

How did it feel not being able to help out your team when you were unable to play all those matches?

It was painful to watch us losing and not being able to do anything about it. Besides like, helping them out like mid-rounds and all. But overall, yeah, it is what it is. We are just looking forward, trying to do our best.
