Medal Esports mirrored their first half's start, winning the pistol and converting the follow-up to convert the half. After this, Revenant Esports' CT-side really took shape, leaving Medal Esports dazed. Revenant Esports quickly closed the gap at 12-12 and even stole the lead, going 14-12. Once again, it was the gump-f1redup duo that stole the show on the CT-side, as Revenant Esports closed out Mirage 16-13 to go 1-0 up in the series.
Revenant Esports got off to a flying start on the T-side of Anubis and 8 rounds into the match Medal Esports put up their first round at 1-8. Medal Esports could only claw back 2 more rounds, as Revenant Esports put up a dominant 12-3 T-half on Anubis. Everyone put up great individual performances for Revenant Esports with SpawN calling a brilliant T-side.
The narrative switched along with the sides, as individuals from Medal Esports started stepping up on their side, starting the second half with a 5-round winning streak. Revenant Esports won a crucial eco round, derailing Medal Esports' momentum and it all went downhill from there for Medal Esports, as Revenant Esports quickly reached match point at 7-15 and converted it immediately, closing out Anubis 16-7 and the series 2-0.
Medal Esports have now lost 12 out of their 13 matches in the tournament and with just a single match remaining in their campaign, Medal Esports will look to play freely without pressure, with nothing to lose. Revenant Esports now sit on 8 wins from their 12 matches in the tournament so far and are proving to be strong contenders to finish in the top 4.
