ghostxD 'We did not prepare for the game at all'
While its been a mixed season for Reckoning Esports, they look to close out the season on a high and they made sure they're on the right path after a 2-0 win over Velocity Gaming. Reckoning's ghostxD spoke to Dust2 India for a quick chat.
The playoff dreams are over, what was the plan heading into these two final games? Were you guys looking at them like improvement maps?
To be honest we did not prepare for the game at all, we came in to enjoy ourselves and that's what we did.
Talking about the Velocity game, two quick maps, but both started with the teams even enough but then you guys ran away with the maps, anything in particular you guys realised that changed thing?
On Inferno we realised that we were going too aggresive and they were playing it out slow but once we countered that it was smooth sailing.
As we reach the end of the Skyesports Masters Season 1 journey for Reckoning Esports, what are some of the main issues you guys faced ?
One of the main issues which we faced was that we did not get enough time to practice with our team, more time together would have definitely been better. Another issue was that, English isn't the native language of our Russian players hence communication wasn't the easiest.
Talk to us about your Skyesports Masters experience
First of all a huge shoutout Skyesports for hosting such an insane tournament. I think the entire Indian Counter-Strike community had been waiting for an event like this for a long, long time. It was a really fun experience, we've learnt a lot and we will use them to get better moving ahead.
