VG got into gears of their T side of Inferno early. Despite losing the pistol, they got three rounds on the board. Ghostxd denied a valiant effort from MaChOleleR. The struggle continued between both teams in the initial part of the first half, as scores were tied at 5-5. However, RE then got the momentum and surged to a 10-5 half.
VG maintained their momentum without relenting in the second half. What was once a closely contested 5-5 score transformed into a harsh defeat of 16-6 for VG.
On the second map Anubis, VG once again overtook the 2-0 start of RKE as they won consecutive gun rounds to lead 4-3. However, as has been the case with this team, they once again allowed the other team to mount back, as RKE embarked on a 7 round spree to end the half 10-5.
Upon switching to the T side, RKE encountered little resistance on their path to victory. Failing to rise to the challenge individually, VG could only muster 2 rounds during their CT side, resulting in a conclusive 16-7 victory favoring RKE.
