5yclone eliminate TheMongolz

TheMongolz concede Nuke, Inferno 2-1 to 5yclone

TheMongolz started off on the CT-side of Nuke winning out the pistol and converting the follow-up but 5yclone converted the first few gun rounds. TheMongolz bounced back with 3 of their own but fell apart after that as 5yclone tore the defense into sites and then outfoxed TheMongolz in post-plants, round after round, securing a 9-6 half in their favor, going into the CT-side.

TheMongolz fumbled the post-plant, as 5yclone retook and won the pistol round to start off the second half and converted 3 more rounds riding the momentum. TheMongolz stabilized their economy and fought back with 2 separated 3-round winning streaks, but in no time they found themselves playing with their backs against 3 match points in the favor of 5yclone and their economy only added to their worries. 5yclone closed out Nuke 16-12, going 1-0 up in the series.

Moseyuh dropped 36 frags on Nuke with an HLTV rating of 1.56

TheMongolz came into Ancient with brute force on their T-side, building themselves a 7-2 lead straight away, keeping the CT-economy in check. The flexible and dynamic nature of TheMongolz's T-side made it challenging for 5yclone to get a proper read on them. Despite 5yclone stringing up a few good rounds towards the end of the first half, TheMongolz secured a 10-5 half in their favor, going into the side-swap.

TheMongolz won the pistol round and converted the follow-up to start off the second half. Converting the first gun round as well, TheMongolz went 13-5, breaking the T-economy and basically their 14th too. TheMongolz never let 5yclone's economy prosper in the second half and denied any map control whatsoever. TheMongolz put up a flawless CT-half to close out Ancient 16-5 to level the series at 1-1 and force it into the decider, Inferno.

bLitz came alive for TheMongolz on the CT-side of Ancient

After initial back and forth trades, 5yclone ran off to an 8-3 start on the CT-side of Inferno with advent and Kazr looking in great form, out-dueling the Ts and contesting aggressively for map control. TheMongolz changed their T-side approach a number of times but nothing seemed to work against 5yclone's CT-setups. 5yclone secured a 11-4 CT-half and considering how their T-sides have looked on Inferno previously, 5yclone looked good to close out the map.

5yclone won the pistol round to start off the second half but TheMongolz won converted the anti-eco. TheMongolz invested heavily into the 3rd round and lost it, breaking their economy and allowing 5yclone to reach 13. TheMongolz went for yet another force-buy and this time if they were to concede the round, it would confirm match point for 5yclone at 15-5 and TheMongolz would have to play against match point with a very weak buy. TheMongolz did however lose the round, off the back of which 5yclone closed out Inferno 16-5 and the series 2-1, eliminating TheMongolz.
