CS:GO Asia Championships 2023 announced

Perfect World Esports took to X, announcing the return of CS:GO Asia Championships and potentially the post-pandemic return of Counter-Strike to China. The event is set to start on 8th November 2023 and will go on till 12th November 2023 and will be held in Shangai, carrying a prize pool of $500,000. Perfect World Esports have confirmed the presence of Tier 1 teams such as G2, FaZe, ENCE, Liquid and Mouz.

two more teams- the winners and runners-up of the Perfect World Arena Premier League Season 5 will be awarded with invites to the CS:GO Asia Championships 2023. Perfect World Esports, is yet to announce the last team that will be a part of the event. Despite featuring CS:GO in their title, HLTV have received communication from the organizers that the tournament will be held in Counter-Strike 2, given that the game is officially launched by then.
