How to become eligible for CS2?

In a recent update, CS2 introduced several significant changes, including the implementation of CS Rating, MR12, and CSTV. Notably, they have expressed their intent to extend invitations to as many players as possible. This raises the question: Who qualifies for the CS2 limited test, and how can you become eligible for it?

To determine if you have access to CS2, follow these simple steps:

• Launch CSGO and check for a pop-up notification inviting you to participate in the limited test. If you receive such an invitation, accept it, and you'll be able to play CS2 after updating the game.

• If you don't receive the pop-up notification, consider verifying the integrity of your game files. Some users have reported receiving CS2 access after doing this.

If you still don't get an invitation, follow the steps below to increase your eligibility.

As per the announcement, you need three prerequisites to become eligible:

• Prime Status: If you've been an active CS:GO player before 2021, you likely already have Prime Status. If not, you can acquire it in-game for 1140 INR.

• Active Competitive Skill Group: If you haven't played the game for an extended period, your skill group might have expired. To become eligible for CS2, it's essential to have an active rank. So, queue up for a competitive game, and secure a rank by getting a win, and this might increase your chances of gaining CS2 limited test access.

• Geographic Eligibility: Ensure that you're playing from a region where the limited test is available. While the specific regions eligible for CS2 access aren't specified, the majority of regions have already had their players enjoying CS2, so this is unlikely to be a concern.
