hasteka struggled to keep up individually

hasteka departs TheMongolz

The surprising replacement for sk0r finds his way out of the roster after a series of poor individual performances.

hasteka, the 25-year-old rifler, has been removed from TheMongolz, the organization announced yesterday. Brought in to replace the team's highest rated player Tengis "sk0R" Batjargal after the stunning run at IEM Katowice, where the team still represented IHC, hasteka was originally pinned as the new leader for TheMongolz, taking over from bLitz.

That move unfortunately did not pan out and the mongolian side moved back to bLitz as the leader going into IEM Cologne. The squad more recently failed to qualify for both of the biggest events in the Asia-Oceania region, IEM Sydney and CSGO Asia Championship, triggering this change.

In his time with the team, hasteka averaged a 0.86 rating, and only a 20% success in opening duels, not up to par in a individual heavy meta, especially for a tier 2 upset squad. TheMongolz will be looking to make an upgrade over hasteka to help them achieve more consistency in future competitions, with their first appearance schedules to be at the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.

TheMongolz are now:

  • Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren

  • Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold

  • Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch

  • Ayush "mzinho" Batbold

  • Erdenedalai "maaRaa" Bayanbat (coach)
