Ace announces return to Counter-Strike

Former Indian pro set to make comeback

One of the region's most recognised names in Counter-Strike Tejas 'Ace' Sawant has announced his return to Counter-Strike, after a VALORANT stint.

Ace had retired from the game in 2020 and switched to VALORANT. After three years as a VALORANT professional, Ace is all set to return to Counter-Strike. Ace was part of Team Wolf, who till date are the only Indian team to have taken part in a Major (ESL One Cologne 2014). After playing for teams like Entity Gaming, Team iNvictus, and Global Esports amongst others, Ace had announced his retirement after a short stint with Global Esports in 2020. He joined Velocity Gaming's VALORANT team and has played for Team Mahi, Revenant Esports and is the current IGL for Team Sarafa.

Ace has announced that the EMG Legends Cup LAN would be his final VALORANT tournament and will take a break before returning to Counter-Strike.
