f1redup powers Revenant Esports to another win over Marcos Gaming

The second semifinal had Marcos Gaming taking on Revenant Esports with both teams slowly getting used to their new rosters.

The opening map was Marcos' pick of Inferno with CycloneF and gump's double giving Revenant the opening pistol starting on the CT side. Marcos answered back immediately with a force buy execute on the B site. Marcos went 5-1 up before Revenant with one MP9 and an M4 stole their second round. A f1redup ace saw Revenant get their third round. Gh0sTTTT's 1v2 put Marcos on double digits and it was a 10-5 lead for Marcos.

Mcg1LLzZz's 1v2 in an absolute brawl of a pistol round all over the map saw Marcos secure the second pistol but f1redup with the TEC-9 opened up the A site that saw Revenant take the force buy. Revenant brought Marcos' lead to one round at 10-11 before a triple from Rossi got Marcos back on the board. Rossi's quad put Marcos on map point and Gh0sTTTT's quad kill with the Deagle saw Marcos close the map at 16-13 with an upgraded pistol buy.

Revenant got their pick of Mirage underway on the T side by picking up the opening pistol thanks to a f1redup quad kill. SpawN's ace on the B site against the eco saw Revenant keep their lead intact. It was a 4-0 start from Revenant before DiceDealer's double saw Marcos get on the board. Gh0sTTTT's 1v3 from Ticket with the AWP saw Marcos get their second round. Revenant's new foreign signing shandarez and f1redup turned on the heat to give Revenant a 12-3 lead as they ended with 17 and 20 kills respectively.

Gh0sTTTT's multi-kill helped Marcos take a much needed pistol, to kick off the second half and his 1v2 on the B site in the first gun round saw Marcos get the score to 6-12. Marcos pulled it back to a two round game at 12-14 before f1redup's 1v2 on the B site put Revenant on map point. Revenant eventually managed to hang on and close the map at 16-12 with SpawN closing the map with a quad kill which included three AWP kills from Connector. f1redup topped the scoreboard with 33 kills.

The series decider was Ancient with Revenant starting on the CT side. Revenant picked up the pistol and shandarez's 1v2 on the A site saw Revenant fend off the force buy. It was a 4-0 start from the CT side before Mcg1LLzZz and DEFAULTER opened up the B site for Marcos' first round. Marcos pulled two in a row which broke Revenant's economy but with on M4A1-S shandarez came in with a crucial triple kill to see the CT secure their fifth round. It was yet another f1redup 1v2, on the B site which saw Revenant put up their ninth round. Important clutches by DiceDealer and Mcg1LLzZz saw Marcos keep the half respectable at a 5-10 score with gump giving Revenant double digits through a 1v1 in the final round of the half.

Gh0sTTTT's 1v3 saw Marcos pick up the second pistol and after four round to kick off the second half for the CT side, f1redup's 1v3 on the B site gave Revenant their first T round. SpawN and f1redup turned around a 2v4 which saw Revenant secure their 13th and CycloneF's triple in a 4v5 post plant on the B site saw Revenant secure match and series point. Revenant closed Ancient at 16-12 with f1redup leading from the front with 28 kills.

Revenant will take on Gods Reign in the grand final in a rematch of the Skyesports Masters final.
