BLAST not switching to CS2 right away

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown to feature CS:GO

Another event to continue with CS:GO

After ESL announcing that they will continue the ESL Pro League Season 18 Playoffs on CS:GO, a report by HLTV has revealed that BLAST will be playing their BLAST Premier Fall Showdown event on CS:GO as well.

It was a BLAST representative who confirmed the news to HLTV and with the event scheduled to start from October 4, BLAST will host the upcoming event in CS:GO as they are not sure whether such a drastic switch will see all teams prepared. BLAST has revealed though that the BLAST Premier Fall Final, which is set to be held in Copenhagen between November 22 and November 26, 2023 would most likely be run on Counter-Strike 2.
