Grayhound run through DXA

Roflko and co. go down to Grayhound

The ESL Australia and NZ Championship Season 17 playoffs got underway with Grayhound taking on DXA in the upper bracket semi-final.

The opening map of the series was DXA's pick of Vertigo with Grayhound starting 11-0 on the CT side as Grayhound were just disrespecting DXA, retaking multiple times in man disadvantage situations. It took a lucas222 triple kill in the final round of the half that saw DXA get their first round on the board as they ended the opening half at 1-11.

Grayhound wrapped up it quick at 13-1 after taking the second pistol and converting on it.

Nuke was Grayhound's pick aliStair and co. started with another pistol win. DXA though, weren't going down without putting up a fight as their captain Roflko led from the front with a strong T side that saw them keep the round deficit to only two at 5-7.

While the first half was a close half, the second half was anything but as Grayhound put up a flawless defensive half that saw them pick up their pick of Nuke at 13-5 and secure the series 2-0.

Grayhound have now secured a place in the upper bracket final now and await the winner of the Rooster and VERTEX game. DXA drop to the lower bracket semi-final and will take on Vantage.
