Unstoppable FaZe continue dream CS2 run

FaZe 2-0 MOUZ at the CS Asia Championships 2023

The Grand Final of the CS Asia Championships 2023 had one of the best CS2 teams in FaZe taking on one of the most consistent teams in the last few months, MOUZ.

Mirage was the opening map of the series and FaZe started with the CT pistol and conversion. MOUZ got four in a row and it was a close half that saw FaZe take a 7-5 lead. FaZe's T side was unstoppable though as they dropped just two rounds on their T-side to secure the opening map at 13-7.

MOUZ started FaZe pick of Nuke with a bang as they raced away to an 8-4 lead on their CT side. FaZe were right on the brink but they weren't giving up and they saw off 6 map points to take it to overtime.

FaZe never gave up and in triple overtime, FaZe closed it out at 22-18 to secure the series 2-0 and win the CS Asia Championships 2023.

With the win, not only did FaZe win the CS Asia Championships 2023 but they are yet to be defeated in a BO3 in CS2.
