3DMAX outclass GUN5
On Inferno, 3DMAX started on the T-side and NBK led the charge as the Frenchmen pushed GUN5 to an early 1-7 disadvantage. GUN5 salvaged the remainder of the half to claw 4 rounds with the advantage still being held by 3DMAX at 8-4.
GUN5 won the pistol and anti-eco in an attempt to level the playing field but 3DMAX outclassed GUN5 in the second half, closing out Inferno 13-7 with NBK topping the charts, dropping 25 frags at an HLTV rating of 1.94, followed by Djoko at 23 frags.
Ancient started with back and forth trades, GUN5 briefly held a 6-3 lead but a 3-rounds streak from 3DMAX's CT-side tied things up at 6-6 in the first half. On their CT-side GUN5 never really let 3DMAX's economy blossom but even with scrappy buys, Ex3rcice stepped up with impact, keeping things close at 11-10.
After neutralizing the lead at 11-11 it was 3DMAX who were now at an economic advantage, however GUN5 managed to shut down 3DMAX's B-rush with just Famas and MP9s, securing match point and closing out Ancient 13-11, levelling the series 1-1.
3DMAX started on the T-side of Anubis with a 4-0 lead and while GUN5's xeELO and lov1kus clawed back a few rounds, 3DMAX still managed to secure an 8-4 half for themselves.
A clean CT-side saw 3DMAX close out Anubis 13-4 and the series 2-1, moving on to the quarter finals of the Skyesports Masters 2024 Europe Closed Qualifier.
