BetBoom hold off B8
Starting on the T-side of Nuke, npl and r1nkle propelled B8 to a 6-1 start. BetBoom defenses could not contain B8's T-side, conceding a massive 3-9 first half. Despite conceding the second half's pistol round, BetBoom didn't back away from the fight and gave B8 a taste of their own medicine.
With their backs against six match points at 6-12, BetBoom made B8 sweat with a 5-rounds streak closing the gap at 11-12. BetBoom fell apart at the very last step of what would've been an incredible comeback, conceding Nuke 11-13.
It was BetBoom who got off to a solid start on the T-side of Mirage with Mangojez and nafany hitting red hot form straight out the gate. BetBoom restricted B8 to a 3-9 half but it was map 1 all over again but this time it was B8 mounting the comeback with OWNER leading the charge.
B8 had a flurry of individual plays, leaving the CTs dazed and in no time, they tied things up at 12-12, pushing it to overtime. BetBoom didn't drop a single round in overtime, closing out Mirage 16-12 and levelling the series.
On ancient, after conceding the pistol and anti-eco on their CT-side, BetBoom clawed back the initial gun rounds, tossing B8's economy. From here on, BetBoom did not drop a single CT-side round, sliding a huge 10-2 half in their favor.
B8 had an uphill battle in front of them with a semi-finals spot at stake but BetBoom kept it clean, eliminating B8 by closing out Ancient 13-4. With this win, BetBoom advance to the semi-finals of the Skyesports Masters 2024 Europe closed qualifier.
