Shocking start for defending champions
VP suffer a loss too
The second set of games at the Elimination Stage at the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 had defending Major champions, Vitality, start their campaign against Eternal Fire while Virtus.pro faced Imperial in the other BO1 with both games taking place on Inferno.
A clean retake from Vitality kicked off their defensive side on Inferno but Eternal Fire's stellar T side saw them start with a two-round lead. A solid CT half saw Eternal Fire hand the reigning champions a 13-10 loss to start their campaign.
