FaZe survives for one more day
As the teams started booking their place in the inaugural CS2 Major - PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024's playoffs, the first set of games on Day 3 of the Elimination Stage saw Eternal Fire face Virtus.pro in the advancement match while FaZe were fighting for the place in the tournament against Imperial in the elimination game.
FaZe's pick of Nuke got the series underway and karrigan and his boys started with a 13-8 win. Imperial's stellar T side on Anubis saw them reply back with a 13-8 win of their own before the series decider on Mirage saw FaZe go 8-4 up. FaZe closed it out at 13-8 to keep their Major dreams alive with Imperial heading home.

The advancement game between Eternal Fire and Virtus.pro saw VP start with a convincing 13-6 win on Overpass. The Turks answered back with a 13-6 win of their own on Vertigo. Inferno started with a 7-5 lead for the Turkish team on their CT half before keeping it clean on their T side to beat Jame and co. 13-7 to take the series 2-1. The win sees the Turks head to the Playoffs while VP have another shot to make the playoffs tomorrow.
