Media: Apeks was removed from Skyesports Masters 2024 invite list

Big revelation by Apeks team member

Apek's Counter-Strike manager and co-founder 'kenkenski' put out a statement on X revealing details about their potential participation in the Skyesports Masters 2024. Earlier today, Skyesports officially announce that the $350,000 LAN event was being shifted to an online event.

In his statement, he said that Apeks were invited to the Masters 2024 and even accepted the invitation but were later taken off the invitation list "due to Skyesports' priority list'.

Amongst the invited teams, Skyesports have invited Liquid, NIP, BIG, ENCE, Aurora and OG. It is not clear which team replaced Apeks in the list but apart from ENCE all teams are ranked lower than Apeks according to the HLTV rankings.

The event which is scheduled to be held between April 8 - April 14, 2024 was shifted to online due to the Indian general elections taking place during the same time and Skyesports being unable to host a event at the same time.
