Media: Skyesports Championship 2024 location confirmed

The open secret about Skyesports' upcoming big LAN Counter-Strike 2 event - Skyesports Championship 2024's location has been confirmed by Skyesports Founder and CEO Shiva Nandy.

Through an Instagram story shared by Nandy, he states that all the sponsors for the event has been locked in and he is looking forward to bring the international teams like FURIA, Eternal Fire and others to Mumbai, India for the Skyesports Championship 2024. The exact venue location hasn't been announced yet.

The Skyesports Championship 2024 will be the tournament organiser's second CS2 LAN event and will boast of a prize pool of $200,000 and will take place between July 23 - July 28, 2024. The event will have international teams such as TheMongolz, FURIA, Eternal Fire, BetBoom and Aurora amongst others attending the event. There will be one Indian team taking part, making their way through the Indian Qualifier, while a fifth invited team is yet to be announced with the final team coming from the European qualifier.

Incidentally, TheMonglz, one of the invited teams had already revealed the location of the event, following the announcement of the event.
