3DMAX sends ENCE packing
ENCE took on 3DMAX in the second quarter-final of the Skyesports Championship 2024 with the final semi-final slot up for grabs. Moving to the LAN format, it was the experience gla1ve looking to lead his new international roster to victory and also pick up their first BO3 series win with the new roster. The French though turned out to be too strong for the new international squad.
Dust2 was the series opener once again as Lucky and Maka helped the French team start with a two-round lead on their CT side. Lucky's double opener at Short helped 3DMAX pick up the second half pistol. ENCE had no answer to Maka's brilliant T side calling as a flawless T side saw 3DMAX race to a 13-5 win.
After a heavy defeat on Dust2, ENCE finally got going, with sdy and gla1ve leading the charge on Ancient which saw ENCE start with six CT rounds. ENCE's pistol win helped them gain early momentum in the second half but 3DMAX eventually took the lead once they brought out the guns and held on in some crucial clutches. It was an underwhelming T side from gla1ve and his boys which saw them fail to win a single gun round and it was 3DMAX locking in a 13-11 win to take the series 2-0.
The loss means the new ENCE roster is yet to win a BO3 series while 3DMAX have locked in their semi-final spot at Skyesports Championship 2024 and will take on Aurora.
