joel disbars cheating accusations
Following joel's ban during a CCT game, BC.Game removed him from their Counter-Strike roster and issued a statement with little to no specifics, stressing on how "they've been kept in the dark". A spokesperson from Akros even provided clarification completely negating the possibility of a false positive.
At the time, Akros did not provide specifics on what joel was flagged for but in a recent development, they gave a little more insight into what might have triggered the ban. joel was accused of having wallhack, aimbot and triggerbot injected into the game at the time of the ban.
The whole incident has blown up because of joel's history with malpractice allegations over the past year including this much broader ESIC investigation surrounding match-fixing allegations. Amidst the controversy, joel has stepped forth to give a comment on the situation.
joel denies all cheating accusations. "I know I have not cheated or planned to do so", joel told HLTV in response to Akros representative's clarifications. joel added that it hurts to have allegations hurled and claimed to just have a vision for the game. He pointed out that he had proven himself on LAN before and he can replicate that performance.
I love to play the game. If I'm not playing CS2, I'm watching it to become better. To now have people doubting my legitimacy is the worst part. I've seen some people react to my demos; I don't mind if they look for something suspicious since everything I do in-game has its explanation. I've even seen some clips floating around that some say are "sus," while there are Teamspeak recordings of information being said that I react on.
