Gods Reign fights back to pick up important ECL win
After suffering a string of losses in their recent ESL Challenger League Season 48 Asia campaign, Gods Reign picked up an important win in their latest round of games against -72c. While Playoffs hopes are still possible mathematically, it is going to be a long road ahead for Bhavi and co. Gods Reign now has 5 wins and 11 losses, sitting with 15 points in the table at the second last place.
The opening BO1 took place on Anubis, with Gods Reign managing just 3 rounds and it was a flawless second half from -72c, who eased to a big 13-3 win. Gods Reign struggled to keep up with their opponents, which was evident with only Ph1NNN reaching double digits kills.
The second game took place on Ancient where the Indian team put up a much better performance. After a five-round opening half, the trio of Ph1NNN, f1redup and Bhavi powered Gods Reign to a narrow 13-11 win.
