Kjaerbye likely to miss upcoming RMR circuit

JijieHao previously confirmed the Dane as their IGL

JijieHao's ISSAA took to X recently, announcing that his team is on the lookout for a European rifler to complete their lineup. ISSAA also mentions that the team would expect their new fifth to take over the IGL role, hinting that Kjaerbye will not be part of the team.

With their potential new recruit, JijieHao look to compete from the Middle-Eastern qualifier for the RMRs leading up to the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. Kjaerbye was revealed to be a part of the JijieHao lineup that took part in the Esports World Cup qualifier and once the lineup book their Esports World Cup slot, the Major winner was brought back in a firmer capacity alongside Bulgarian AWPer, dennyslaw.

Almost a month ago, Kjaerbye suffered a tragic loss in his personal life with his sister's passing, who was recently diagnosed with brain tumor.

Just a couple of weeks away, the Middle-Eastern open qualifier starts on 21st August 2024 following which, the closed qualifier begins on 25th August 2024. As of now, NOM Esports have been shortlisted to receive a direct closed qualifier invite for the Middle-Eastern closed qualifier based on the Valve Regional Standings.

With Kjaerbye likely to miss out on the RMR circuit, JijieHao's current lineup reads as follows:

ISSAA
m1N1
0SAMAS
dennyslaw
World T.B.A
