Rare Atom sent home from Fall Showdown by FaZe
Rare Atom got their BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 campaign underway against FaZe, with the Chinese team showing some promise on both maps before FaZe shut them out to knock the Chinese team out of the event.
The Round of 16 BO3 series kicked off on Inferno with a tied opening half but a strong T side from FaZe saw karrigan and co. run away with a 13-8 win. Ancient saw Rare Atom start with the advantage on their CT side before a late resurgence from FaZe saw them end the opening half with a two-round lead. A clean pistol saw FaZe start the second half strong before Rare Atom showed some glimpses of promise on their T side. FaZe, though in the end, were too strong for the Chinese team, as they went on to close it out at 13-9 to pick up the series 2-0.
The win keeps FaZe in contention for the Fall Final spot while Rare Atom are sent packing on the opening day of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024.
