True Rippers lock in Gods Reign rematch
The Lower Bracket Final of the Phase II of the eXTREMESLAND 2024 Indian Qualifiers kicked off between True Rippers and Carnival Gaming.
Starting on the CT side of Inferno, Carnival Gaming gained an early upper hand by converting the pistol round, but could only salvage 5 rounds as the half came to an end. As the sides switched, True Rippers quickly furthered their lead to 11-5, and despite a resurgence from Carnival Gaming, managed to close out their map pick with a 13-11 win.
The second map took us to Mirage, which was a neck-and-neck affair from the outset, with the scores getting tied at 4-4 and then at 7-7. However, it was Anasasis’ AWP that proved to be the difference maker on the CT side for True Rippers, as they sealed the deal with a 13-8 win. True Rippers will now face Gods Reign in the Grand Finals of the Indian Qualifiers that will be a LAN event.
