Gods Reign reverse sweeps True Rippers in Upper Bracket Finals

In the Upper Bracket Final of the Phase II of the eXTREMESLAND 2024 Indian Qualifiers saw a brawl between Gods Reign and True Rippers.

The BO3 kickstarted on Mirage, a map pick of True Rippers where Gods Reign capitalised early on to pick up their CT pistol. However, a 1v1 won by Anasasis against f1redup swung the momentum in True Ripper's favour, as they ended up conceding a single round in the rest of the half, ultimately clinching a 13-3 win.

The second map brought us to Ancient, where Gods Reign kicked off their T-side with a 4-0 start. While True Rippers clawed their way back to a 3-4 score, Gods Reign, led by Ph1NNN, f1redup and reV3nnnn dominated to close out the map with their 13-3 win.

The decider took us to Anubis, where Gods Reign’s individuals were firing on all cylinders, as they established a 9-3 lead. f1redup, who carried much of the fragging load ended the game with a 17-9 K-D as Gods Reign closed out the game with a 13-6 win.

The win sees Gods Reign secure their spot in the Grand Final of the eXTREMESLAND 2024 India Qualifier, where they will take on either Carnival Gaming or True Rippers in a LAN event in October 2024.
