eXTREMESLAND 2024 India Qualifier Upper Bracket Final: Preview

After a week of action in the eXTREMESLAND 2024 India Qualifiers, we have reached the final day for the Closed Qualifiers with the upper bracket final upon us today. Two of India's best, Gods Reign and True Rippers take on each other as they look to move closer to locking in a spot in the main LAN event in Shanghai, set to be held in January 2025.

For Bhavi and his boys, they have been dominating right from the start of the qualifiers, dropping just six rounds across two matches in the opening Phase and then ran through Fight for Fame and Victores Sumus in Phase II. Like Gods Reign, the new look True Rippers have also been on quite the run, starting off their campaign with a 13-0! True Rippers faced their first tough test in the Indian qualifier against Carnival Gaming, but Rossi and co. kept it clean with two consecutive 13-10s.

Gods Reign generally have had the upper hand against True Rippers in most of the head-to-heads but they have faced the new True Rippers roster only once, in the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 14, where they secured a 2-0. The lack of familiarity will be an advantage for True Rippers, as they will hope to catch Gods Reign off guard.

The Upper Bracket Final at the eXTREMESLAND 2024 India Qualifiers will take place today at 16:30 IST. The winner of the BO3 match will directly book their place in the eXTREMESLAND 2024 India Qualifier Grand Final, which will be a LAN event, taking place in October 2024, with the winner securing themselves a spot in the eXTREMESLAND 2024 as the Indian representative. It's not over for the loser of this game though, as they will drop to the Lower Bracket Final, where they will face Carnival Gaming.
