True Rippers have gone through a massive overhaul after failing to make past the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Asia RMR CQ, replacing Crazy_Gamer, their AWPer DayMake, and coach yb. To discuss the idea behind these changes, Dust2 India sat down with their recently appointed IGL Rossi. Here is what he had to say.

True Rippers have undergone several controversial changes recently. For example, despite DayMake’s impressive performance, he was replaced by Anasasis. Can you explain the reasoning behind this decision?

Yes, we made more changes than any other team in India. It was because we were not able to adapt to each other very well. DayMake got replaced because he wasn’t AWPing much or meeting our expectations, he was more inclined in rifling than being an AWPer and we noticed without AWPer it will be difficult to play good structured game.

The re-signing of Mcg1lz was unexpected, considering he was benched just a few months ago. What does True Rippers see in Mcg!LLzZz that made him the preferred choice over Crazy_Gamer?

Re-signing Mcg!LLzZz was actually a surprising thing for me also. It happened due to other players who were listed for tryouts happens to not join for tryout or they were stuck with their contract and things. It was never like we wanted to replace Crazy_Gamer over Mcg!LLzZz, But it just happened that’s it and everyone accepted at the end.

There have been multiple leadership changes within the team. First, it was DEFAULTER, and shortly after the Skyesports Championship, you took on the mantle. What was the idea changing things right before an important event?

⁠I just did a proposal and it worked that’s all I have to say for role changes.

After acquiring yb and seemingly heading in the right direction, the team now finds itself without a coach again. Is True Rippers currently searching for a new coach?

No, we are not looking for any new coaches at this moment.

With this new lineup in place, what are True Rippers’ goals moving forward? What do you hope to achieve?

True Rippers' goal right now is to win eXTREMESLAND & focus on making it ECL League, because we didn’t get chance to play ESEA properly for the last two seasons. If you ask me about next major goal for True Rippers, it is to qualify for RMR LAN& with that other big tournaments which are gonna come up.
