NAVI locks in IEM Rio 2024 title
Natus Vincere (NAVI) faced MOUZ in the Grand Final of the IEM Rio 2024 as they were looking to not only continue their strong recent form but also extract revenge for the ESL Pro League Season 18 Grand Final and Aleksib and his boys put in quite a show to pick up yet another title in what seems to be an incredible year for the reigning Major champions. It was a dominant 3-1 win against MOUZ as NAVI won their fourth big LAN event this year.
The Grand Final kicked off on MOUZ's pick on Ancient which saw NAVI turn it around on their T side to steal a 13-11 win after a slow defensive half. A jL special along with a solid team performance saw NAVI dominate their pick of Dust2 with a 13-2 win.

After being 0-2 down and a map loss away from losing the Grand Final, MOUZ turned it around in style on Mirage, locking in a confident 13-6 win to keep series alive. A fifth and final map looked all but locked in as MOUZ started Ancient with an incredible CT half, consisting on 10 rounds. It all quickly changed as barring one gun round, it was an inspired showing from NAVI, as they showed why they are one of, if not the best team in the world right now as they turned it around to make the comeback stick and run away with a 13-11 win with w0nderful standing out on the fourth map with a 1.36 rating.
With the completion of IEM Rio 2024, its also the end of the IEM calendar for the year with NAVI being the only team to win two ESL Pro Tour events in 2024 (ESL Pro League S20 and IEM Rio 2024).
