TYLOO withdraw from MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025
With just a couple of days left for the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 to get underway, the organisers of the $250,000 event has announced that Chinese team TYLOO has withdrawn from the event. With TYLOO not taking part, the runner-up of the Mongolian Qualifier, Eruption will be replacing them at the LAN event.
TYLOO had booked their spot at the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 through the China Open Qualifier, where they beat Nalakuvara and Shika to be amongst the 8 teams set to take part in Ulaanbaatar. Eruption meanwhile, had finished second in the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 Monoglian Closed Qualifier, going down to The Huns in the final.
MESA has revealed that TYLOO's withdrawal comes due to visa appointment issues and given the short period of time between their withdrawal and the event itself, Eruption, a Mongolian team themselves, will be replacing the Chinese team.
With Eruption joining the team list, there will be a total of three Mongolian teams at the LAN event in Ulaanbaatar, which kicks off from April 30, 2025. The 8-team event will have the Group Stages get things underway with the swiss BO3 format, before the Playoffs move to a single elimination BO3 format. The Grand Final will be a BO5 encounter while there will also be a 3rd place decider. The winner of the event is set to walk away with a prize money of $135,000.
