Ph1NNN recently announced his departure from Gods Reign

Sources: Gods Reign likely to drop Counter-Strike roster

The Indian side recently flunked out of Hero ACL's closed qualifier

No information about Gods Reign's future in Counter-Strike has been made public by the org yet. This is a developing story with more following as and when made public by Gods Reign or any of their players.

Sources close to Dust2 India have indicated that Gods Reign is set to release all players from their Counter-Strike roster. With Ph1NNN deciding to part ways with the organisation and Rossi hinting at retirement, the core of Gods Reign will be left with R2B2, f1redup and Bhavi. The trio will reportedly look for other Counter-Strike opportunities while Gods Reign's future in Counter-Strike remains uncertain.

While Gods Reign were a dominant force within India, the Bhavi-led team would often crumble against other Asian teams, struggling to get past qualifiers and into main events. Despite a good end to 2024, Gods Reign's 2025 started with a disappointing eXTREMESLAND outing where they crashed out after winning just a single game.

Barring a couple of Dust2 India 1XBET Masters event wins and a win at Skyesports Souvenir 2025 National Championship, Gods Reign's biggest outing came at the Asia MRQ, where they made history, becoming the first Indian team to play in a Major Qualifier. Gods Reign even took down The Huns in the lower bracket before conceding a 0-2 to Chinggis Warriors in the lower final.

Gods Reign ended their MRQ run just a couple of wins away from making it to the BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major and things looked hopeful for the Indian side's future but an abysmal performance on LAN at Hero ACL 2025's closed qualifier came as a big setback for the Indian side.

Gods Reign entered Counter-Strike with a Crazy_Gamer-led roster back in 2023 before the inaugural edition of Skyesports Masters and have absolutely dominated the Indian scene. With Gods Reign's alleged withdrawal from the Counter-Strike scene in the air, the Indian will be left with just a single functional org- VICTORES SUMUS alongside a few teams playing without orgs like DEFAULTER's Flshbck.

Dust2 India reached out to Gods Reign to confirm the same but has not received a response yet.
