Wasted Potential makes Rivalry Rush: Face Off final over Team M5

With Frag Theory having taken down Badmash earlier in the day, it was Wasted Potential and Team M5 battling it out in the second semi-final for the remaining spot in the Grand Final of Bharat Ascend Esports' Rivalry Rush: Face Off.

Inferno was the opening map of the series which was M5's pick and it was them starting with the T sided pistol but Wasted Potential answered back with the force and went 6-1 up before Voldemort came in with a big 1v1 clutch against Aryann-iwnl to get M5's second round on the board. It was a sloppy T side from M5 as they over peeked and over committed in unnecessary situations which saw Wasted Potential start with a four-round lead. 3vilPrinc3's clutch gave Wasted Potential both pistols on Inferno but M5 put up a strong defensive half of their own to tie up the score at 10-10 before a couple of B hits with 3vilPrinc3's AWP having late impact saw Wasted Potential through at 13-10.

Dust2, Wasted Potential's pick saw them start with the pistol before M5 answered with the force and a reply on a force of their own saw Wasted Potential get control of their T side. Continous Long control saw Wasted Potential bully the A site and see themselves waltz on to a 9-1 lead before a Spyro triple got M5 their second but two was all they managed on their CT side. A quick Short hit saw M5 pick up a much needed pistol on their T side and went on a five-round streak before Owned's triple Deagle shut down on the B site saw Wasted Potential get their first CT round. The upgraded pistol round saw Wasted Potential go on to close out the map at 13-7 to lock in a 2-0 series win.

Wasted Potential will take on Frag Theory in the Grand Final of the Rivalry Rush: Face Off tomorrow at 18:00 IST and will be streamed live on Bharat Ascend Esports' YouTube channel.
