The MongolZ stunned by ENCE in Finland
The MongolZ faced gla1ve's ENCE in the first semi-final of the Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 with the Asian squad looking to pick up yet another LAN title before the RMRs kicked off but it was gla1ve's new lineup who spoilt the Mongolian team's party/
The action got underway on ENCE's pick of Anubis and it was ENCE starting with a 7-5 lead on their T side with podi having a strong opening half. The MongolZ quickly tied up the score and took the lead converting after taking the second pistol but that was all as podi and Neityu shut out the Mongolian team to lock in a 13-8 win.
After a disappointing performance on Anubis, The MongolZ turned up instantly on Mirage dominating on their T side as they started with a near-flawless T side with podi denying The MongolZ a clean T half, coming in with a big 1v2 in the final round of the opening half. That one round was all that ENCE could manage as the second half pistol saw The MongolZ close it out with ease at 13-1.
The decider on Ancient saw The MongolZ start slow once again as ENCE went 6-0 up before a late recovery helped them end the half with four rounds. An impactful pistol from gla1ve saw ENCE lock in both pistols on the decider but The MongolZ picked up a much needed force buy, shutting down a B hit. It was gla1ve calling another one of his supreme T-sides, which the Dane is known for which saw ENCE close out Ancient at 13-8 with ENCE's French youngster Neityu leading the scoreboard with 19 kills.
