VICTORES SUMUS fight back to knock out Frag Theory

The second semi-final at Bharat Ascend Esports' Rivalry Rush: Vengeance Rising saw double defending champions Frag Theory go down to VICTORES SUMUS in a two map thriller which saw BENZENE and co. set up a Grand Final date with ROG Academy.

VICTORES SUMUS' pick of Nuke kicked off things with their T side propelling them to a 5-0 start before Frag Theory's defense finally managed to stop the Ts. VICTORES SUMUS ended their T side with a four-round lead as BENZENE, and arakyN led the charge and it was a quick finish on Nuke as arakyN stepped up in particular on their defense, dropping 22 kills with an ADR of 105 to help VICTORES SUMUS secure a 13-7 win.

Frag Theory fought back in style on their pick of Ancient, starting with an 8-4 lead on their T side and it seemed like a third map was locked in as they went 12-6 up before VICTORES SUMUS' T side finally got going, holding on against six map points, to push the map to overtime. In overtime, it was VICTORES SUMUS' T side taking over as it was RecoilMaster and arakyN powering them to a 16-13 win.
