Rare Atom on the brink of elimination after loss to VP
Home team ends Day 1 at 0-2
The woes continued for the only home team at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 as Rare Atom ended the opening day of the Opening Stage 0-2 after a loss to Virtus.pro.
Taking place on Anubis, VP started with a four round lead before a flawless CT side from Jame and his boys saw them close things out at 13-4 with fame topping the scoreboard with 20 kills.
The loss drops the only home team at the Shanghai Major, Rare Atom into the 0-2 bracket and the Chinese team will have to play out of their skins to keep themselves alive at the Major.
