Video: Watch RaYzEr shuts down Big W with the AWP
Victores Sumus took down Big W in the lower bracket final at the Skyesports Souvenir National Championship 2025, keeping their dreams of picking up their first LAN trophy alive. While it was the Benzene show in a lopsided affair on Anubis, Big W fought back to keep themselves in the game on Nuke and even pushed the map to overtime.
While Victores Sumus' defensive hold saw them pick up the opening two rounds of overtime, Big W seemed all set to steal one T round but it was RaYzEr in a double AWP set up that halted Big W's hit as the youngster picked up an ace with the AWP to close out a flawless CT half.
The final round of the first half of overtime kicked off with SpawN and hattygOD removing Victores Sumus' two biggest hitters, Benzene and arakyN, leaving Victores Sumus in a 3v5 situation and set up Big W perfectly to claw back a crucial T round to end the half at 13-14.
Big W tried to push ramp, which had Victores Sumus' secondary AWP of RaYzEr in a double sniper setup holding the angle. With the Trophy Room smoke just fading, it was SpawN receiving the first bullet from the youngster before he fell back. Expecting a push, RaYzEr deployed a molly and was almost caught out but a quick scope saw him take out CycloneF as well. He peeked back to remove hattygOD as well, who was holding the Big Green on the other side as well.
RaYzEr then had the slightest of glimpses at Crazy_Gamer, who had picked up the dropped AWP from hattygOD's body and was removed even before he could get a proper look at the Victores Sumus player and RaYzEr closed out a fine AWPing display with to send home a hapless N1kace, who was waiting in the trophy room for an aggressive push from the other side.
