HLTV releases predictions for Austin Major MRQ invitees

HLTV has released predictions for April 7th 2025 rankings, that will define how the MRQs will be structured around for the Asian teams. The MongolZ are heavily favored to reach the Stage 3, ranked number one in Asia with 1835 points.

For the MRQs, The Asian region will be broken down into three subregions - China, Oceania and SEA MRQ, and Asia MRQ. Below are the predictions for the teams that will be qualifying for the respective regional qualifiers while

China MRQ

• TYLOO (969 points)

• Lynn Vision (830 points)

• UR (631 points)

Oceania and SEA MRQ

• FlyQuest (977 points)

• SemperFi (958 points)

• ex-Talon (914 points)

• Rooster (784 points)

Asia MRQ

• ATOX (973 points)

• Chinggis Warriors (912 points)

• The Huns (851 points)

• Gods Reign (844 points)

The MRQs will send a total of four teams to the first stage of the Major. The subregion with the highest ranked team, which is Rare Atom for the China MRQ as per the prediction, will get two slots, while the other two regions will get one slot each. The MRQs will run from April 15-17th, and will be held online in the respective regions.
