The MongolZ eliminated from BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 by G2
G2 ended The MongolZ's hopes of making it to the Playoffs of BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 as Snax's boys handed Asia's best a proper beating in the Group B lower bracket final to eliminate them.
The MongolZ took the early lead on their pick of Ancient, going 5-1 up on the T side before 10 straight rounds from G2 saw them go 11-5 up with HeavyGod leading from the front. The MongolZ, led by impact from Senzu got a couple of CT rounds to push it to all 24 rounds but the HeavyGod and m0NESY duo was too strong as G2 held on for a 13-11 win.
Dust2 started with a malbMd ace in the first gun round that set up a stellar hold from Snax and his boys as they ran away to a 9-3 lead. A Senzu ace saw The MongolZ pick up their only CT round as G2 demolished the Asian squad 13-4 to seal a comprehensive 2-0 and book the final Playoffs spot.
